Thanks for the very timely results, and the analysis of the scores by
NM9C and you. As I've said before - you fellows do a great job, other
state contests which were several months earlier still do not have their
scores published.

You ask one question which deserves more attention - namely, should more
recognition be given for QRP Operation? You say that the number of QRP
entries have decreased over the years, with 1 from Illinois and 6 from
outside the state. Methinks you're "preaching to the choir" when you
put this question to the current participants.

Perhaps a better audience would be the QRP-L reflector
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/qrp-l
I'll forward a question to that reflector about State QSO parties in
general, and ILQP in particular and see what they say.

I personally haven't been keeping track of other QRP activity. I do
know that Michigan QSO Party (http://www.miqp.org/) awards a plaque to
the highest Michigander in the QRP category. Ohio QSO party
(http://www.oqp.us/) issues a plaque to the highest in state and out of
state QRP participant. I couldn't find a listing of scores for these
contests which have a breakdown by power level.

Again, congrats on the very timely and very thorough job.
