Regarding horizontally-polarized mobile antennas, I *think* the idea is
to create a "cloud-warmer" so as to actually work some of the other
in-state mobiles instead of just hearing their pileups.  It'll be
interesting to see what Danny and others can come up with and how they
work!

I'll be posting plans for the mobiles to the County Hunter Web at least
a week before ILQP.  The county hunting community has really gotten
behind the state QSO parties since some new spotting networks were
created. In addition, there is a new "Top List" activity amongst county
hunters in which many are trying for as many "band-counties" as
possible.  I would expect a LOT of activity in ILQP this fall!

Keep those activity plans coming.  I'll post my mobile route within the
next few days.  With N5RP, KJ9C, NY4N, I think we'll have the southern
part of the state covered.
