[ILQSO] 40 meter horizontal mobile antenna ideas

Has anyone played with, seen or even heard about a 40 meter antenna that can 
be used on a mobile in motion, that is horizonatlly polarized? Or any ideas 
about how to do it? 

I have been thinking about one for a couple of years now and the obvious 
solution is to use two 40 meter Hamsticks as a dipole, but even that 
requires a bit of mechanics to keep them from beating the truck to death at 
65 mph.  I figure if I have to make additional supports, I might as well go 
for a little more efficient design.
