[ILQSO] N9Q CW Only

N9Q is CW only at this point.  But, I'll be operating from the corner 
of  CHAM/DOUG/EDGR/VERM.

I've been unable to resurrect two non-functional Drake Microphones.  In 
both my Drake TR-5 and Drake TR-7 one of them has a hum, even though the 
ground connections are correct, and the shield has continuity from th 
connector to the Microphone innards.  The other one doesn't have any 
audio, it's one I cobbled together to operate phone with my TR-5, and 
hasn't been used for some 10 years.

If someone in the area SE of Chicago to the Danville area has a working 
Drake microphone they'd be willing to lend for the weekend, I'd be 
eternally grateful.  A poll of the local ham clubs in the area of Grand 
Rapids turned up zilch.

I did break down and ordered a new authentic Drake Microphone today from 
a dealer who said he had several from old stock.  I wasn't willing to 
pay more for overnight shipping than the device cost, so it won't do 
much good for ILQP.
