[ILQSO] K9IUA [lack of] plans

Several have asked what my plans are for this year.  Previous
years I have been QRP/mobile, operating from the northern-tier
counties of STEP, WINN, OGLE, CARR, and JODA.

I'm leaning this year toward just operating non-Illinois from
home, which is Dubuque, Iowa.  The advantage to this, although I
can't hand out multipliers, is that I would have access to 80
meters, which I can't when I'm mobile, plus put out a better 40
meter signal (my mobile 40m Hamstick is not very good). Besides,
the car I would normally use is likely to be in use by my son
for getting to/from work that afternoon.

But, if the weather is really nice, and I get the urge, I may at
the last minute swap vehicles with my wife and son and put on a
mobile expedition again.

Sorry for the indecision.
