I've been using General Logger for a while and seems to work fine for me. However, I'm one of those guys that usually start using the program without reading the HELP files or instructions of any type. So when I first started to use it, not understanding it, I was going nuts scrolling back and forth to check if I had already worked a station I was hearing call. It's not bad till you get over 100 contacts.. then it does get confusing. Then I came across a little piece of information, I think it was on some website, that says to check for dupes while working, simply type the call in the box where you'd normally type it for a qso, and hit the space bar. Sure enough, if you've worked them before it pops right up, tells you what band you worked them on and what mode. Sure saved me a lot of extra time. It does write the Cabrillo file format, but I always double check to make sure all the entries are correct. It also will write the ADIF file, so you can upload to the ARRL
Logbook of the World. I've done that a number of times without any errors. I'm sure reading the Instructions will make it a lot easier to understand, and use.
