[ILQSO] NE0P contest results

Finally getting around to posting my results for the ILQP last weekend. The contest seemed to go by very quickly.  20 was in great shape, but most IL stations seemed to go to 40 fairly early, which was not in good shape here.  IL stations were not real loud there, and I had a hard time getting through the 4s and 8s.  Never got to 80 since I had to QRT during the last 2 hours of the contest.  

I am probably the only one, but I liked the old contest times better.  Fit a little better with my schedule, and gave stations further west more time on 80 to get some extra QSOs.

I probably made more SSB QSOs this year that before (at least a higher percentage) as the dual receive in the Yaesu FT1000MP I got a few weeks ago is great for contests like this.  Put one receiver on CW, and the other on SSB, tune both looking for stations to work, and just flip the transmit back and forth as needed.

Here are my results:

PH QSOs-56 x 1=56 points
Total QSO points-248
Counties-59

Total Score 14,632 

This is the worst score I have had since moving to Oklahoma.  Other station's scores seemed to be down also.  I wonder how much had to do with propagation and how much had to do with the elimination of the bonus multipliers.  I hope they bring those back also.
