[ILQSO] N9FN results

Sorry this is a bit later than most, but here's the info for the N9FN
operation at the Champaign, Douglas, Edgar, Vermilion County intersection.

We had a great time and great weather again this year.   We also had the
unexpected pleasure of meeting Bruce, K9LOF and his wife Kay, W9KAY.  They
stopped by and gave a hand with setup, checked on us a few times during the
contest in case we needed anything, and even brought a couple of sheets of
plywood over to give us a better floor for our tent in the freshly chiseled
corn field.   Then after the contest was over, Bruce helped us tear down and
pack up.   They invited us over for a fantastic fresh baked apple dumpling
desert!  What a great treat!  

The only disappointment was that we had a very high noise level.    It was
at least S5-S6 on all bands, and as high as S8-S9 at times.   It made
hearing anything except very strong signals nearly impossible.  Several
times people asked me to listen for a mobile and even with the DSP I
couldn't even detect them.   I have been on that end many times, so it was
even more frustrating that I knew people were calling and I just could not
hear them.   I sincerely apologize to everyone that was calling that I could
not hear.   It was not that I wasn't trying.    Unfortunately at that
location there are large 3 phase power lines running down the road and I
suspect that is the source of the majority of the noise.
