Hi everyone, Thanks for all the contacts on Sunday. Hope you had as
much fun as I.

I think I had better get into the 21st century logging game.
I need as simple a logging program as possible to transfer my PAPER
(What? !!!!) log of the ILQP into something that I can then submit
electronically to Jim.
In the past, I would just set up the spread sheet in my MS WORKS (not
WORD or EXCEL) and type away. Then to make the dupe sheet, I'd sort
and print by call sign and look for duplicate lines. Then for mults I
would print out by county or state to get each state's contacts in one
bunch and them just plain count the groups.

This has served me for as long as I have had a computer (22 years) but
this is not conforming to the requirement or request to put the e-logs in
a uniform arrangement. I don't want to have to submit another paper log
if I can get around it gracefully.

Any suggestions as to what program I could use that would not require a
mess of juggling from one program to another to get out the project?

For me this part of the contest is far more difficult and time-consuming
than the fun part of operating from the car.

Thanks,

Bud Frohardt, W9DY/m
