Re Joe's comment ... jpegs are fine.  Try to keep the files small, like 100K
to 200K or so.  Otherwise they take forever on my email.  Also, I'll have to
photoedit and re-save them as jpeg before I upload them to the site.  Yes,
my brother in law sends me family photos from Belgium that are  2 Meg long
... yup, that's slow on dial-up email.
