1) 1 hour earlier start & finish (1700Z October 16 to 0100Z  October 17)
2) elimination of the 8-QSO bonus multiplier. This will greatly

The 1 hour difference will help our mobile/portable friends out, & the  
elimination of the 8/Q mults will help us in ham-scarce counties compete with  the 
guys in Chicago that can run a ton of guys thru 2-160 both modes that we  
don't have a chance to do.
