For some reason, (probably space constraints) the "Suggested Frequencies"
for ILQP operation are not easy to find. At this late date, I'd like to
suggest:
CW: up 50 from the bottom of the band
SSB: 3890, 7270, (used to be 7290, but that's an AM hangout), 14290,
(avoid the Maritime Mobile Service Net on 14.300), 21390, 28390 (you can
always *hope* somebody will be on 10 meters....) and 146.49 FM simplex. On
six meters, I'd try just above 50.125.
Lately, 40 meters has been going really long in the evenings. I anticipate
putting the 80 meter antenna on in place of 15 by about 2200Z, and there
should be a LOT of 80 meter CW activity for the last half of the party.
Don't quit just because 20 meters closes!!!!
Will this be the year that someone works over 90 counties in 8 hours?
Two days, 15 1/2 hours to go.....
73, Jim N9JF
