Hi Jim:

Your mention of which bands, etc. reminded me:

I just wanted to mention all a CW station has to send is: IL de call/m
qths.. once.

Repeat if necessary until you get a reply.

I was passing up stations sending CQ CQ IQP de n9nnn n9nnn; some more
than once (n9 is not significant, could have been K, W, A....)

In an 8-hour contest, ever dit counts HI!

I also only called a mobile two or three times before I QSYed.  Old guys
are very impatient!

By the way, thanks to Roger, KF9D/M who gave me my last county in IL: 
JACKSON.  Really appreciated his effort to make sure I got it!  Will send
the  (MARAC) last county award after I recover from driving, operating in
PQP and IQP and partying at the convention in TN!
