[ILQSO] What Fun!!!

  I operated with KN9T/p at the four county portable and just had a blast!
 I think we did ok. Had antenna trouble but got it fixed before the contest.
 We used my Haulmark trailer with tables set up inside and it was very
comfortable. Will post pictures or email to anyone who wants them. Used a
generator to drive lights,rig and amp. Missed WAS by six states. Did not
hear any DX to speak of and very few Canadian stations. 20 cw/phone and 40
cw/phone were hopping. Had some good runs. Was disappointed with 80 cw.
Didn't operate any phone there. Used 20/40/80 meter dipoles hung in some
handy
trees. Also had a few visitors. Many,many thanks to all the mobile/portable
stations. Know we missed a few counties but all in all, it was an excellent
contest. You know, can't wait for next year already!! Lots of out of state
activity and heard some familiar calls from all over. Nice to hear NY4N/m and
NE0P from OK, also K4BAI and WA3HAE. Worked a slew of out of state mobiles
too.
