A reminder that e-mail log submissions will be accepted for this year's
ILQP. Please send them to [email protected]. NG9R and I will wrestle them to
a draw and see what we can do before we turn them over to RAMS. We will
accept any text, ASCII or ADIF or Cabrillo format (yes, and probably others,
but ask....). If you just type your log into an e-mail, it will really help
if you format it in this order:

band mode date time call exchange mult

I know there have been numerous discussions about "log massaging" on the
CQ-contest reflector. Given the rather unique nature of the ILQP scoring, I
would encourage you to examine your log before you submit it for the
following: dupes, incorrect multipliers claimed (e.g., Coles County for
Colorado), abbreviations open to interpretation (e.g., "MAC"; is it Macon or
Macoupin?), or log pages with no band/mode info. A bit of time on your part
will avoid having your log returned or scored incorrectly.

If you will send a summary sheet with your log in the e-mail, it will save
us a LOT of time! It's much easier to check over your calculations and
verify them than to do it from scratch.

Logs that we cannot read, or cannot interpret, will be returned for another
attempt on your part.

A list of logs received electronically will be posted periodically to this
reflector and to the website.

Hard copies of your log can still be mailed to the RAMS address on the
website.

Thanks for your cooperation!

73, Jim N9JF
