Wow,if you're willing to travel some distance, there are a LOT of 3-county 
corners that would be attractive.  I can't remember where you're 
located...Peoria area?  Quad Cities?  Why settle for one county?

If you do decide to activate a county corner, spend time scoping out the 
possibilties.  Look for antenna supports, parking spot, traffic, power 
lines, other sources of noise.  If at all possible, talk to the nearby 
residents and try to get permission to park there, even if it looks like a 
"public" spot.  I've found that most landowners, when approached with an 
upfront explanation, respond favorably, or even helpfully. 

Look around.  Any county is "rare" if nobody activates it....
