I don't make the rules, just have to live and operate by them. CQ and MARAC
do not allow "Wet Lines or close enough (whatever that means!) When mobile,
part of the vehicle HAS to be in the county you are claiming. When portable
part of the antenna has to be in the county claimed. If not I can't claim
the county or counties for any of the awards.

Several state qp's don't specify an RST which is a requirement for CQ and
MARAC awards. Most of the time I don't work these contest. I'd rather be
working something that counted for my awards.....your mileage may vary...Tom
