Hi Chuck,   Way back there, I asked you a dumb question about how one
could get 2 multipliers from one station which you had mentioned in a
posting.    Well,  the address I used was somehow not any good and it
FINALLY bounced back THIS AM. For what it's worth (not much any more)
here it is.  I wanted you to at least know that I was acknowledging your
answer about bonus mults.  

Here's what I mis-sent before:
Gee,  my mind must have been off somewhere else when I asked that
question.   Guess I had not got rid of the CQ calls I kept hearing in the
shower, from the teakettle and under the hood of the car, etc. HI.  
You're right, of course.
How could I have overlooked  the BONUS multipliers???  
In fact it was I who originated the 8 QSO bonus thing back about 30 or so
years ago as I was trying to make Cook, Dupage, etc. a little more
popular to liven up things a bit.  The party was originally sponsored by
Cliff Evans, K6BX who tried to rule things with an iron cudgel.  The
thing petered out after a couple of years and finally BX dropped the ball
and didn't schedule it so I picked up on it and managed it for many
years.   Sure glad I talked Joe, K9LY, into
taking over the reins later on.  His youth and dedication have certainly
put ILQP up at or near the top of the parties.
 
Thanks, Chuck, for putting St. Clair on.   There were years and years
when we never worked that county.
