[ILQSO] re: electronic submission, et al

Hi Guys,  
This was the best party for me in 40 years!    Things ran smoothly. Only
problem was moving fast enough to attempt to catch all the mobiles.   I
think that would be impossible with one receiver in one portable (car)
shack.  I may have more comments later on all the suggestions we are
getting but here is just one little comment.  
 
We would love to be able to accept electronic logs but we are just not
geared for this sort of thing.   We are one of the smallest clubs in
existence and I bet the smallest of ANY that are party sponsors.   About
2/3 of our members are active in the party and all of those active as
operators do the paper work before and afterward.  I am speaking of about
FOUR members doing this so please be patient with us.   By the way, Joe,
K9LY catches the heaviest of the load and we other three try to support
him as we can.  
 
If we accepted electronic logs that would be about the last straw.  As I
see it we would have to download the logs and print them out and THEN
start working on them the same as we do with the other mailed-in logs. 
Maybe some day we can do more.   
 
Anyway,  glad to see that mainly our little party is accepted and enjoyed
by so many every year.
