We enjoyed the IL QSO Party very much. Had to make the operation short, =
only 2 hours due to family commitments before and after. After driving =
to our location we found the Dentron MT-3000 tuner simply would not the =
load 66 foot wire on 20 meters. Yes, its a 1/2 wavelength, high voltage =
point, but I thought this tuner would load anything. So we mostly =
operated 40 SSB. Operating from a picnic table at the edge of the =
wildlife refuge on such a nice day was great. Hope to see you all again =
next year. Maybe then we can do a full day of it, and cover all the =
bands.
