Dear Cook County ARES® Members and Friends:

Our regular monthly net, usually held on the
fourth Wednesday of the month, coincides with
Christmas this month.  When the net has coincided
with Christmas in the past, attendance has been
virtually nil.

Accordingly, we'll skip the net this month, but I
look forward to hearing you all on our first net
of the bright new year on 22 January 2014.

I hope those lucky enough to have received a new
radio for Christmas or Chanukah, or perhaps bought
one for themselves at the hamfest on the 19th,
will have had a chance to learn how to work it by
then. :-)
