The Illinois QSO Party will be held this Sunday, October 21, from 12 noon
until 8 PM, CDST. It is a short event and a great way to spend a Sunday
afternoon and/or evening. More information can be found at

There is also a local Illinois club competition and the participation has
climbed significantly the past couple of years. You could treat this as a
Field Day event and set up on a county line or multiple county corner and
have a blast.
