[ILHam] Help Needed--Northern Ill Public Service Events--WEDS. August 10 and Sat. October 1

Dear Cook County ARES® Members and Friends:

Now that we have all recovered (I hope) from the
excitement, fun, and exhaustion of ARRL Field Day,
I'd like to invite you to help with a couple of
important public service events.

On WEDNESDAY 10 August, hams are needed to help
with a full-scale exercise at Harper College.  The
event begins early afternoon and should conclude
around 1900.  This promises to be a very large and
interesting activity, and will give us an
opportunity to work with professional emergency
responders.

We need lots of help with this unusual weekday event,
so... 
    PLEASE COME OUT AND VOLUNTEER.  WE NEED YOU!

In addition, on Saturday 1 October, hams will be
supporting the Prairie State CERT Challenge.
We'll be at a new location this year, and,
happily, the event does not coincide with Field
Day.  More details on the Prairie State CERT
Challenge will be available in late July.
