Dear Cook County ARES® Members and Friends:

The NWS' Chicago (Romeoville) and Lincoln weather
forecast offices have posted their spotter
training seminar schedules for 2011 on their web
sites.

It is early in the season, so additional seminars
may be added in the coming weeks.

The Milwaukee (Sullivan) office has not yet posted
their schedule, but when they do, it will be

Finally, for those interested in the DuPage
Advanced Weather Seminar, there are a couple of
changes this year.  The seminar will be held at
Tellabs in Naperville (instead of Wheaton
College).  Also, the organizers have stated that
walk-ins will not be admitted; all attendees must
pre-register (and pay the fee of $35) by
2011/02/25.  For more information or to
