[ILHam] Hams Sought for Melrose Park; No EmComm Roundtable Saturday

Dear Cook County ARES® Members and Friends:

Two brief announcements:

1.  Melrose Park Public Safety/Homeland Security
    is looking for additional people for their
    comms program.

    Communications officer Duane Whittingham N9SSN
    writes that the work includes "doing comms at
    the EOC, a command van and UCP and other jobs
    besides working radios like maintaining and
    working on the gear."

    They are also looking for people "to assist
    with Skywarn and other weather duties,
    possibly spotting but also running 'weather'
    from the comm center or in some cases a remote
    location such as home or somewhere else."

2.  There will be no EmComm Roundtable at Hoffman
    Estates this Saturday (2011/04/02) due to
    another amateur radio activity.  The next
