Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day (ARMAD) is being held in many places May 29, including James Park in Evanston, behind the Levy Center parking lot (Dodge Avenue and Mulford Street). The Evanston special event will last from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include both Echolink and HF contacts with mililtary personnel and first responders, plus some visits by both.
