[ILHam] Elmhurst-based York Radio Club meets March 19

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Elmhurst-based York Radio Club will hold its monthly meeting on Friday, March 19, at 8 p.m. The gathering is free and open to all.

This month's program will feature a presentation from Kermit Carlson, W9XA. Kermit was recently elected vice director of the Central Division of the ARRL. He will talk about the hobby and the league.

The meeting will be at the Community Bank of Elmhurst, 330 W. Butterfield Rd. (at Spring Road). The club offers testing for all amateur licenses before the meeting at 7 p.m. For more information, go to www.yorkradioclub.com.
