Dear Cook County ARES Members and Friends:
On Sunday 07 June, our good friends and colleagues
at Kane County ARES will be providing
communications support for the American Diabetes
Association Tour de Cure cycling fundraiser in
Geneva. They are looking for some additional ham
radio volunteers for this event. Among the help
they need are SAG operators, who patrol the route
in vehicles to assist cyclists who have
experienced some sort of trouble.
Helping find a cure for Diabetes is surely a cause
worthy of our support. Nearly 24 million Americans
have diabetes, so virtually all of us have a
relative or friend affected by this disease.
If you can help, please contact Eric Lorenz KC9FQV
on 630 430 2421, ASAP.
Thanks and 73,
--Neil Ormos N9NL
