Gerry,
Well assuming it works on the other 10M band segments, a logical place
to start would be those crystals that generate those specific band
segments. The older rigs split 10M into 4 500 KHz segments, so each
segment has its own crystal, if not oscillator. So assuming everything
else on 10M works, your low power and dead segments are likely to be in
those specific oscillator and/or buffer circuits.
I would not start by retuning the entire radio based on what you wrote
before.
The rest of the radio is working, thereby eliminating any questions
about those stages. You now have a fairly localized problem, start there.
