Dear Cook County ARES Members and Friends:

Please join us tonight...

   Wednesday, 27 August 2008, at 9:00 PM CDT...

for the monthly Cook County ARES Net on the SARA
Repeater (146.88 MHz, offset -600 KHz, PL107.2).

All persons with an interest in emergency and
public service communications are invited to
participate in the Net.  You need not be a member
of ARES or any other organization.  Residents of
every county and state are welcome.

ALSO: Two big public service events are coming up
in September: the Harmon Hundred on 09/07, and the
North Shore Century on 09/21.  These events are
great opportunities to show off ham radio to the
public, while honing your skills and exercising
your equipment.  Won't you please volunteer?
