The North Shore Radio Club (NSRC) is inviting all hams and their significant
others to our mid winter dinner.  

The event will be on Saturday, January 27th at the Chevy Chase Country Club,
1000 N. Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL.  

In keeping with our tradition of trying to find a non-radio program that
might be of interest to our spouses, this year's guest speaker will be Ralph
Frese, from the Chicagoland Canoe Base.  He will talk about "America's
Fourteenth Colony" - the French settlement of Illinois before Independence. 

While the event is sponsored by the NSRC, we welcome anyone in the ham
community to join us for this social occasion.  It is an opportunity to meet
other hams in the community and learn a few things along the way.  

A buffet dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m.  Cost is $30 per person, payable
at the door. Reservations are required and must be received by January 19,
