Library in Harwood Heights 

Free Amateur Radio License classes will begin Tuesday, October 3, 7 
p.m. in the Eisenhower Library and will meet for ten Tuesday evening 
sessions. We will cover basic electricity, how radios work, safety 
issues, and simple operating procedures & rules. Morse Code not 
required. 

At the final class session on December 19, license examiners will 
administer the entry level (Technician) test, a 35 question, multiple 
choice written examination. Successful candidates will qualify for a 
FCC Amateur Radio Technician License.

1st Edition, Level 1 Technician, 2006. Be sure to purchase the new
