Dear Friends:

ARRL Field Day will be held Saturday and Sunday,
June 24-25, 2006.  I encourage all amateurs to
participate in this fun and educational emergency
communications exercise.  For those new to Field
Day, one of the best ways to join in the fun is to
visit a local amateur radio club's Field Day
operation.

I often get calls and e-mails asking where people
can visit a Field Day operation.  I am preparing a
map of club/group Field Day sites in northeast
Illinois.  I will be using information sent to me
by clubs/groups, supplemented with whatever
publicly available information I can find.

Please help me by sending information about your
club's/group's Field Day.  I'll need the name of
the club/group, the location of the Field Day
site, whether the club/group will be operating
overnight, and whether visitors are welcome.  A
URL for the club's/group's Field Day information
would be helpful.

If your club/group does not want its Field Day
shown on the map, let me know.
