The North Shore Radio Club will link its repeaters on May 19 for the 8:00
p.m. net. Check in on the two meter repeater (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2
Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL 100.0 Hz.). It's suggested that the
operator pause for about a second after keying the microphone to allow the
linkage to pick up the request to transmit, especially on the 440 band.

In addition to local traffic, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and AR
Newsline. The RAIN report, "My Early Days as A Ham," is Part Two of a talk by
former Chicago and current L.A. broadcaster, Dick Helton, W9CTY.

Amateur Radio Newsline reports that Radar comes to a ham band in the U-K, the
B-
P-L war continues in Australia and more on the arrest of former ham Jack
Gerritsen in Los Angeles.

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins will be taken by net
control Howard, N9RUI, at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and
Newsline, and after Newsline.

73,
Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
North Shore Radio Club
