>From the York Radio Club website:

(3/13/05) The Technician training class ended today on just as high a
note as it began yesterday! All nine of our students passed their
license exams and now all they have to do is wait for their names and
call signs to show up on the FCC database. Congratulations to our nine
new Techs... and new club members!

Beginning with this month's Technician Training Class, the York Radio
Club Executive Board has voted to present a club membership, good
through the end of the current year, to anyone who successfully
completes one of our training classes.

The suggestion was made by Gehl, KB9DVC, Vice President and VE
captain, as a way to encourage new hams to get involved in the hobby
from the very beginning and to provide them with a support system just
when they might need it the most.

Visit the club website, yorkradioclub.com for more information and
photos.
