[ILHam] York Radio Club VE Testing and General Meeting 3-18-05

The York Radio Club will hold the March general meeting at the Elmhurst
Fire Department Training Facility on March 18, 2005 at 8:00 p.m.

The Elmhurst Fire Department Training Facility is located at 910 North
Addison Avenue in Elmhurst, Illinois.  This facility is two blocks south of
Grand Avenue and one block west of York Street, behind the McDonald’s
restaurant.

This month's club meeting will focus on tornado and storm spotting.  Bill 
Bell
and Dave Corner of the Elmhurst Fire Department and Elmhurst ESDA-Civil 
Defense
will present a program on severe weather and storm spotting.

This is a free event and is open to the public.

The York Radio Club offers testing for all Amateur Radio elements before the
meeting. Testing starts at 7:00 p.m. sharp at Training Center. Walk-ins are
welcome.
