The North Shore Radio Club Thursday evening net at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday,
June 23, will be on two meters only (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.).

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and
American Radio Relay League (ARRL) news, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and
AR Newsline. The RAIN report, "2005 FCC Update Part Four," concludes the look
back at the 2005 Hamvention FCC forum with the conclusion of a presentation by
FCC enforcement attorney Riley Hollingsworth, K4ZDH.

Amateur Radio Newsline reports that a Texas congressman says no to cities
getting into the broadband business, the United Telecom Council wants to become
the United States B-P-L database manager and the FCC proposes a $21,000 fine
against a ham in Maine.

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins are taken by net
control Mark, WA9IVH, at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline, and
after Newsline.

Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
