It's our turn--Yes,it's our turn to be recognized by Newsline.  Be sure to
tune in to Newsline on the June 16 North Shore Radio Club Thursday Evening Net.
Six minutes and eight seconds (6:08) into the report, our NS9RC Repeater is
called out as one of the systems that carries Newsline.

The net will be on linked at 8:00 p.m. Check in on the two meter repeater
(147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL
100.0 Hz.). Please pause for about a second after keying the microphone to allow
the linkage to pick up the request to transmit, especially on the 440 band.

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and
American Radio Relay League (ARRL) news, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and
AR Newsline. The RAIN report is another part of the Dayton Hamvention FCC
forum, tonight featuring part one of the talk by FCC Attorney, Riley
Hollingsworth, K4ZDH.

In addition to mentioning our club, Amateur Radio Newsline reports tonight
that Nebraska says no to B-P-L , illegal C-B radios are banned in North Carolina
and the FCC tells yet another ham to stay off of a repeater.

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins are taken by net
control Mark, WA9IVH, at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline,

and after Newsline.

Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
