[ILHam] North Shore Two Meter Net Thursday 8:00 p.m.

The North Shore Radio Club Thursday evening net at 8:00 p.m. CT net will be 
on the two meter repeater only (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.) on July 
28.

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and 
American Radio Relay League (ARRL) news, the NSRC net includes and AR Newsline. 
Amateur Radio Newsline reports this week that the FCC proposes amateur licenses 
going code free.  CEPT proposes a pan-European Novice class license and U.K. 
hams respond to the London terror attacks. 

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins are taken by net 
control Howard, N9RUI, at the beginning of the net, after John Wass' report, and 
after Newsline.
