The North Shore Radio Club Thursday evening net will be at 8:00 p.m. CT on
the two meter repeater (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.).

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and
American Radio Relay League (ARRL) news, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and
AR Newsline. The RAIN report, "EchoLink - The Old and the New,"  goes back to
last February for a rerun of a 2004 Dayton Hamvention talk by Jonathan Taylor,
K1RFD, the Father of EchoLink.

Amateur Radio Newsline reports United States ham radio operators react to the

FCC no-code licensing proposal, Australia takes another step forward in
creating a Foundation Class ticket and Amateur Radio Newsline names Rebekah
Dorff, WG4Y, as the 2005 Young Ham of the year.

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins are taken by net
control Mark, WA9IVH, at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline, and
after Newsline.

Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
