The North Shore Radio Club will link its Wilmette repeaters on April 28 for
the 8:00 p.m. net. Check in on the two meter repeater (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz.,
PL 107.2 Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL 100.0 Hz.). It's
suggested that the operator pause for about a second after keying the microphone to
allow the linkage to pick up the request to transmit, especially on the 440
band.

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and
American Radio Relay League (ARRL) news, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and
AR Newsline. The RAIN report, "Dayton Hamvention 2005 - A Preview," is part 1
of a preview of the 2005 Dayton Hamvention, scheduled for May 20-22 in ...
where else ... Dayton, Ohio. Hap Holly, KC9RP, RAIN's Founder/Producer spoke last
week with its General Chair, Gary Descombes, N8EMO.

Amateur Radio Newsline reports that the ARRL says yes to bandwidth, eBay says
no to a radio and an indictment in the case of two missing hams believed
murdered at sea.

All licensed amateurs are welcome to check in. Check-ins are taken by net
control Mark, WA9IVH, at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline, and
after Newsline.

Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
