[ILHam] Kane Co. OEM Amateur Check-In net begins 4-20-05

The Kane Co. Office of Emergency Management will begin a weekly check-in 
net on the KC9OEM repeater (145.470, - offset, 103.5) starting 
Wednesday, April 20th at 7pm. The purpose of this net will be to allow 
areas ham operators/spotters to check their signal capability into the 
KCOEM repeater, and to keep the area ham community up to date on the 
activities of the Kane Co. OEM. Net control duties will be shared by the 
Ham operators of the KCOEM Communications division. The net will 
continue on a weekly basis, unless pre-empted by activation of the EOC 
due to a severe weather or disaster situation.
