Since we use grid squares on VHF+ instead of sections, it wouldn't have
much impact on those contests.
Sweepstakes is another matter. I think it would be even more fun with
Illinois split into two sections.
Note that I routinely work over 300 miles with only 10 watts on 144, 222
and 432 MHz SSB. Milwaukee is no problem from here (Urbana area).
