The Metro Amateur Radio Club Weekly Net is Sunday at 9PM Local time on the
MAC repeater (147.315, + Offset, 107.2 PL).

The net is held every Sunday evening at 9 PM local time and allows amateur
radio operators in the Chicagoland area to share information about upcoming
events, discuss different topics, and to practice net control operations in
preparation for times of emergency.

The net offers a trivia question, ham radio/technology news, a contest
calendar, and announcements.

THIS WEEKS TRIVIA QUESTION: You are a county hunter seeking CQ Magazine's
USA-CA Award and you have just worked a new county! Do you have to receive
written conformation in order to claim credit for the county?  Explain your
