The North Shore Radio Club repeaters will be linked on October 21 for the
8:00 p.m. net. Check in on the two meter repeater (147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL
107.2 Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL 100.0 Hz.). It's suggested that
the operator pause for about a second after keying the microphone to allow
the linkage to pick up the request to transmit, especially on the 440 band.

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass with the local hamfest and ARRL
news, the NSRC net includes the RAIN report and AR Newsline. The RAIN report
this week features Bill Pasternak's interview with Owen Wormser, K3CB, talking
about NFCC, the National Frequency Coordination Council and the Amateur Radio
spectrum above 50 mHz.

Amateur Radio Newsline includes reports on the FCC decision on Broadband over
power lines, Silent Radio and other topics of interest.

All check-ins are welcome Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. Check-ins are taken by net
control at the beginning of the net, between RAIN and Newsline, and after
Newsline.
