The North Shore Radio Club net will be on linked repeaters November 4 for the
8:00 p.m. (November 5, 0200 UTC) net. Check in on the two meter repeater
(147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL
100.0 Hz.). It's suggested that the operator pause for about a second after keying
the microphone to allow the linkage to pick up the request to transmit,
especially on the 440 band.
In addition to local traffic, and John Wass, KA9QJX, with the local hamfest
and ARRL news, this week's NSRC net includes the RAIN Report and AR Newsline.
The RAIN report features an interview with Bob Heil, K9EID, one of the
household names in the audio industry as well as in dx'ing and contesting circles. AR
Newsline reports that AMSAT says that the UO 22 ham-sat is dying and that
Israel says it may do away with Morse testing.
All check-ins to the net are welcome. Check-ins will be taken by net control,
Mark, WA9IVH, at the beginning of the net, after the KA9QJX reports, after
the RAIN report, and after Newsline.
