Net control for the North Shore Radio Club linked repeaters November 4 for
the 8:00 p.m. net will be Marilyn, W9LUO. Check in on the two meter repeater
(147.345 MHz, +600 Hz., PL 107.2 Hz.) or the 440 repeater (442.075 +5MHz., PL
100.0 Hz.). It's suggested that the operator pause for about a second after
keying the microphone to allow the linkage to pick up the request to transmit,
especially on the 440 band.

In addition to local traffic, and John Wass, KA9QJX, with the local hamfest
and ARRL news, this week's NSRC net includes the AR Newsline. Amateur Radio
Newsline reports that the ARRL Executive Committee is meeting to discuss the
future of ham radio in the U.S.A. and that the next Solar Minimum may be a lot
closer than you think.

All check-ins are welcome Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. Check-ins will be taken by
net control at the beginning of the net, after the KA9QJX reports, and after
Newsline.

73,

Marilyn Tschannen Gardner, W9LUO
North Shore Radio Club
Evanston, Illinois
