K9MGN and I will be offering a Technician license class beginning on Jan.
27, 2004, at Rend Lake College, Ina, IL (located between Benton and Mt.
Vernon).  The classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at 1830 local time
and be of approximately 2 hours duration.  There will be a total of 10 class
sessions.  Nine of these will be for instruction.  The final class will be
held for VE testing of students.  There will be no Morse code instruction
associated with this class.

The fee for the class will be $31, payable at the first class session.  That
amount will cover the cost of textbooks (which will be obtained from the
ARRL following the first session and enrollment) and the small fee that the
College charges.

There is no requirement that students for this Community Education class
offering be residents of the Rend Lake College District.  Enrollment can be
accomplished by showing up for the first class in the ACA building on the
Rend Lake College campus, room 108, on January 27 at 1830.
