Peoria Superfest is this weekend, Friday-Sunday (Sept 19-20-21).

The outdoor Flea Market is open all 3 days, opening on Friday at 3pm.

The Indoor Commercial Exhibit Buildings are open at 8am (only open on
Saturday and
Sunday).   The final prize drawings are at 2 pm on Sunday, which effectively
ends
the event.

As far as the hotel/motel situation, see the website www.peoriasuperfest.com
for a list
of local hotels and motels.

As of yesterday, the following hotels are sold out:
Springhill Suites (formerly AmeriSuites)
Comfort Suites
Courtyard by Marriott
Holiday Inn Brandywine
Residence Inn (Marriott)

All of the other hotels listed as "Near Expo" still had rooms available.
Note: The "Mark Twain Hotel" in East Peoria is permanently closed.

It is suggested that you have a hotel reservation before you arrive, as this
appears to be a busy weekend here in Peoria.
