Jack Hudson, W9MU, will be the guest speaker at the North Shore Radio Club's
June 10 meeting. Jack's presentation covers the basics of 1/4 and 1/2-wave
vertical and horizontal antenna designs - how they work and what you can
expect in the real world. Jack will also explain the application of EZNEC
software to design antennas and predict their performance.
Jack, who lives in Richmond IL, is recently retired from the College of Lake
County, where he taught for 25 years in the Electronics Dept. Jack is a BSEE
from Univ. of Illinois, and has a Master's from NIU. He's also an author of
electronics textbooks. In his newly available free time, Jack plans to spend
more time fishing, chasing DX (340 countries confirmed), and contesting.
